To Test the webservice

Hi All,

I need to test the existing webservice in the "ESWORKPLACE", for this i have selected a webservice with the following URL

http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/sap/bc/srt/wsdl/sdef_ECC_SALESORDER002QR/wsdl11/ws_policy/document?sa...

To test the same i used the Webservice navigator in the ESWorkplace which is asking for Userid/password for the server "SAP WebApplication Server [HU2]"

Please let me know how to take it forward.

Hello,

As a first step, copy the WSDL with end point (from ES Workplace). In WS Navigator http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcesiespwsnavui/WSNavigator page, past the WSDL in WSDL URL field. Then click Next and Service Operation will be picked up automatically from WSDL. Then click Next and enter the input parameters. Now click Next and you will see the Result.

Thanks for the inputs....

Actually before using the WS Navigator i logged in and tried to test the service the way you recommended, but still i find it is asking for userid/password.

while registering in the ESworkplace it was asked for the ports 80 & 50001 has to be released ??

please let me know any prerequisites are required like the above ??

Hi Vijay.

You need to register yourself at https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/soareg to consume those services at ES Workplace.

I recommend you this blog for better understanding and use of the ES Workplace and SOA itself: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/soa

Hi Darwin,

I have registered the way you suggested i got the following message

"Your Request has been submitted sucessfully"

but i not receive any mail from SAP regarding the userid/password.

Hi Vijay, you've to wait until you receive the confirmation email or try again tomorrow.
