SAP CRM - Definition/Modification of sales area.

Hi gurus,

Kindly let me know the steps to Define/modify a sales area in SAP CRM.

I need this because in BAPU_MAIN BDoc there are some error messages stating "Invalid sales and distribution area" . Hence your solution will help me resolve this error message.

Hello,

I suppose that BDoc came from ECC, right? In that case it is best practice to load the customizing of sales organizations from ECC into CRM rather than creating that sales org in CRM manually.

In fact, there are two things to do:

1. Replicate the customizing of sales orgs from ECC to CRM

2. Open the organizational model in CRM and mark the correct organizational unit as sales organization + link it with the R/3 sales organization (this step is only required if you replicate documents of this sales org from/to ECC)

In the new page select "Technical Information" -->Building Block Library. There check out the building block "C01: CRM Organizational Model".
