We loading Master data Texts into an infopackage via a flat file. This is a daily process and it worked fine till yesterday. The current problem is whenever this file is specified and schedule to start the job is specified, it is asking for a transport Number. Nothing in the infopackage has changed. No changes has been made on how the client is set up in SE06/SCC4.
Any ideas why a data load asking for a transport Number.

As per suggested link..
-change catalog entry of infopackage and assign it as $TMP.
(or)
-Create a transport request(Put 'DO NOT TRANSPORT' in the transport description),assign to this transport when u get a message asking for transport while saving/executing the infopackage. The next time round,it will not ask for a transport request.
cheers,

Hi Hemal,
I guess the infopackage was assigned to a transport request earlier which has got deleted. The deletion could have been manaula or there was a system refresh. You can either create a transport request if you have access or else ask your SUPER user to create one and assign you also to the transport request.
Bye
