How to disable services in Visual Administrator

Hi

How do I disable services in Visual Administrator ?

For example if I want to disable TREX service permanently, so that it will not run on next restart .

Hi,

You can do it with the config tool. Switch to the "editor" mode, then go to cluster data --> server --> cfg --> services. You will find the property sheets of the applications. If you make double click on them, you can see the start-up mode. You can set it to 'manual', so that the service is not started automatically by the system.

What I have also observed that from the Global Server Configuarations we can also change the Startup Mode (Automatic/Manual/Always) from the drop down control (After clicking Additional Info Tab).
