DTP is not activated after transpor from DEV to QAS

Hi BI Guru's

I transported the process chain from DEV to QAS, In QAS all the DTPS where not active and also the technical name( only ) is changed, where as other properties are same .

could any one say something on this kind of errors.

hi,

Activate all DTP`s in QAS system.

There is no impact an others.

This is the expected behaviour. DTP's were not meant for transportable. Instead we have to create them separatly in each system.

how do you activate them without creating an transport?

Hi,

This is a very common issue. However, you would still be able to schedule the DTP even if its inactive. After the load is executed, the DTP becomes active.

Just doing a little checklist here:

1) Are all of your transformations as well as the sources and targets of your DTP's active and in QA?

2) In QA did you set the conversion of source system names after transport?

this kind of erros are solved by adding the SP 18 patch

Hi JSK,

That is very common, I do however not know any other solution then to activate in QAS. If anybody has a better solution I would also like to know...
