Hi to all gurus,
I was just finding out how server sizing is done?
- SAPS are calculated based on the module used and no of low level users and high level users.
- And based on calculated SAPS, server sizing is determined.
But this is too vague. It will be great if you can provide me with a white paper for the same.
I even went to the URL http://channel.sap.com/sbo/documentation but when I provide my S-user ID its not giving me access.
Thanks and Regards
Hi,
SAP strongly recommends that the customer ask to a Hardware partner to make the correct sizing and to give the correct hardware according customer needs. Besides that you can use the Quicksizing tool to get the number of SAPs that are related to your business needs. to access this tool go to service.sap.com/quicksizing

But this is too vague
It's meant to be used as a reference.... so you can estimate your needs and build your landscape accordingly. You shouldn't be expecting SAP to tell you what hardware/software to buy and in what quantities...
Well, thats just my opinion.
