Hi,
I am trying to map a scenario in which one has to follow change management procedures(as per ITIL guidelines) whenever you change the system configuration(both hardware and software) of the customer.
CRM 7.0 version has a standard transaction type "ITCH" as Request for change. But this transaction type is not appearing in WebUI though i have included the channel in that transaction type. How to get the same in the WebUI?
Also is there any standard SAP best practice/procedure to configure RFC(request for change) procedure?
Regards
Karthik
Honestly, I have not seen anything within SAP that will do this easily. IT has a lot on their hands maintaining SAP configuration for the business. Last thing I would want is maintain SAP configuration for IT. In any case, the best solution for managing change requests (RFCs) for SAP systems that I have seen is Switchboard (http://www.switchboardsite.com). Check it out, we love using it.
