Just a word on the sftp client, we were using Core client to upload and download db's to and from GSC and for some reason a couple of times the client did not recognize the database. We have been using WinSCP since and have not had any problems.

Hi giri prakash,
Note [1302201|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display.htm?note_langu=E¬e_numm=1302201] answers most of your questions. Attached to this note you will find "FlagFile.zip". Extract it and you have the Flagfile. It is up to you which SFTP client you would like to use in order to upload a Database to SAP Business One Produkt Support.
Search at [www.google.com|www.google.com] for "SFTP client download" you will get a long list of common SFTP clients. Doing so I just found [http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmaster/freeftpclients.shtml|http://www.thefreecountry.com/webmaster/freeftpclients.shtml] which gives a good overview.
Hope this helps
Best regards
Mario
