How to make a field in condition table as non mandatory

Former Member

Hi All,

We have a scenario wherein we have a access sequence as DUNS/Personnel/CEX. I want to make CEX as a non mandatory field while putting in condition records.

One thing which we don't wanna do is create another Key combination with DUNS/Personnel.

Regards

Anmol

Dear Anmol,

if you want the maintain a field as non mandantory for a condition table therefore you have the possibility to set the flag 'init' in the access sequence.

The initial inicator has two functions within Customizing for access

sequences. Firstly, it controls that the system does not access the

condition if the field in the document header/item is blank or 0.

Secondly, during automatic return transfer of data that were determined

in the access, it allows an initial value to be returned.

Please go into transaction V/07 and enter the access sequence

Then select the relevant access and go to 'fields'.

Here you can maintain this indicator.

I hope that the information are helpful.

regards

Claudia

Hi Anmol Pareek,

If you want that one field of a condition table won't be mandatory when you create the condition table go to the Technical View (button) an untick the chek KEY for that field.

Thanks in advance.

Check mark the INIT column against the field wherein you want to make it non mandatory
