Inbound IDOC missing some values

Hi ,

We got few fields in the IDOC which are populated at the sender side of the IDOC but when it comes to XI we dont see those fields populated in the payload at the sender. Any idea on what could be wrong. I have checked the mapping in XI and the sender has the 2 fields in the IDOC. Trying to figure out where it went wrong.

Hi Golla,

Try to import the idoc metadata and give a try. Probably they would have added the fields after you import into XI. Also do a cache refresh and give a try. Check in sxmb_moni of ECC whether those fields are populated or not.

Hi Kalyam,

Can you delete the metadata and try to push the Idoc again. It might be metadata problem.

Thanks & Regards,

@ Srinivas - If there is problem with metadata, there will error message here is not the case.

actually if there is a field generated on the IDOC it has to come to XI in the source payload.

check this.

Kalyan,

Are you using Standard IDOC message type...or any custom version...if custom try to check the metadata once again...

Go to idx2 and select your message type and hit display...it should show you segments...if you hit on the segment you will get the fields...

Check if your fields are there in the structure..
