Delta Download of material masters from R/3 to EBP

Hello Seniors,

We have scheduled R3AR4 for delta download of material masters from R/3 to EBP.

It is working fine, what we want to know is that can the generation of R/3 material master become triggering point for this activity.

This is because we don’t want to load our server with the background job running with set frequency and searching for newly generated materials.

Could you clarify it as i am not sure to clearly understand your requirement.

Do you want to "push" your material update and creation from R/3 to SRM instead of "pulling" it from SRM ?

You are exactly correct in your second statement.

We want generation of R/3 matl master as a trigger for "delta download" instead of the a EBP searching in R/3 for new matls every min. or whatever frequency set.

Hi Dinesh,

We are running on SRM 4.0 and setting in table CRMRFCPAR is suffcient to trigger delta download of materials directly from R/3.

Here EBP doesnot need to serach for the delta updates and you can check the delta download ques in SMQ2.
