ESS Leave Approval cannot meet workflow issue

Former Member

Dear collegues,

When I test the leave application using PTARQ, it is ok for me to apply the leave, workflow document is created and sent to approver. But when approver select and approve, the following message appear:

" E WL 803 Work item 000000000000 cannot be read "

I just use standard workflow WS12300111.

It is so strange that why workflow get Work item 000000000000 but my work item is 00000001005.

Any collegues have some idea on it as I just miss this part to finish the ESS setting.

Hi,

Uncheck the " Process Request Using Workflow " in Workflow Template in `Processing Process for Types of Leave`.

Vivek, if you uncheck "Process Request Using Workflow", will the WF be triggered and will solve the issue?

This may occur if the leave request is already approved.

Please run the report Rptarqpost or check the work item

status in backend, Is it in Sent status? Or this leave request was

modified and new one was raised, Please verify.

For safer side, just run the rptarqpost report and check the

status afterwards.

Please check SWU3 about the

runtime workflow customizing enviroment to see if it has been done

correctly (with the green ticket). I checked but it was not

set with green ticket, You need to schedule background jobs.
