Create new asset from SD delivery

I know there is no standard functionality to create asset directly from SD delivery line items.

But is there any functionality(User Exit) where we can create new assets directly from SD delivery or goods issue. Because our business process is similar to this.

Hi GB,

There is no way to update create & update the asset master in the equipment with delivery user exit. We have to do this by developing a program (BDC).

Input parameters: Delivery creation date/ Delivery type/ Delivery number/Equipment number with sales org/plant restrictions as applicable for your business scenario

The BDC first needs to create an asset master and then it has to get in to the Equipment master in IE02 to assign the asset.

You can create a job for this program with applicable values in the variant and schedule it just after the delivery creation job gets completed.
