SAPCCM4x--Is start required after SAP Restart

Hi,

I have instaled the SAPCCM4X agent in one monitored System say ABC

I have restarted ABC Instance. Please let me know whether restart of SAPCCM4X is required when i restart the ABC SAP instance

Please guide

Do not be in any confusion, refer the link which you might have already referred during installation

if you have not added inittab entry, then you have to 'start' sapccm4x manually after instance restart. It doesn't have any relation with startsap or stopsap scripts.

If you maintains the inittab entry, then no need to 'start' the sapccm4x agent 'manually' everytime when SAP restart

Hi,

If you look into the startsap and stopsap logs, you can see that this agent is also stop and start with startsap and stopsap command.

So no need to take care of extra care to this agent.
