if the basic dates of the production order come from material master (inhouse production times)..........so, if there is no inhouse production time in the material master , from where the basic dates come from?
When you create prod order direct from CO01 then during scheduling system always check data from routing and creates production dates along basic dates.
If prod order created from planned order CO40 then dates will be copied from planned order.
There is always lead time scheduling whenever prod order is created either direct or from planned order that means both prod dates and basic dates created.
Work scheduling view is mandatory in material master.

Hi,
If the Production Time in MRP-2 View is not maintained, then system will automatically schedule the Order from the Routing data and propose the Dates..
