Hi all,
I had my Solution Manager 7.0 on SP 12 and everything was working fine.
Due to importation of EHP, I have applied SP stack 17 for ABAP & Java in my solution manager 7.0. THe ABAP side went fine. All the Java components were deployed successfully. However, at the end of the deployment it couldn't start the Java engine.
In the dispatcher trace I got the following error
" Mon May 18 12:57:49 2009
***LOG Q0I=> NiIRead: recv (10054: WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer) [nixxi.cpp 4424]
ERROR => NiIRead: SiRecv failed for hdl 6 / sock 228
(SI_ECONN_BROKEN/10054; I4; ST; 127.0.0.1:1682) [nixxi.cpp 4424]
DpJ2eeMsgProcess: j2ee state = CONNECTED (NIECONN_BROKEN)
DpIJ2eeShutdown: send SIGINT to SAP J2EE startup framework (pid=4580)
ERROR => DpProcKill: kill failed [dpntdisp.c 371]
DpIJ2eeShutdown: j2ee state = SHUTDOWN"
I have the kernel patch 185 on a W2K3/SQL2005 64bit. The DB instance and the central instance are running on different servers.
Any ideas how to over come this issue?
Thanks,
Filippos
Hi,
If you look into your logs you might find error references to ']'. This is a linux bug which happens sporadically.(I think)
Check in your environment variables. You will find the following variable.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/oracle/SID/102_64/lib:/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient:/usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run::/usr/sap/SID/[JD]*[0-9][0-9]/j2ee/os_libs:/usr/sap/SMD/exe
It seems like the Linux has hard time building the system number from the env variable....::/usr/sap/SID/[JD]*[0-9][0-.....
It gets confused when it tries to build your system number with JD]*[0-9][0
Solution:
setenv the variable without the [].
setenv setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /oracle/SID/102_64/lib:/oracle/client/10x_64/instantclient:/usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run::/usr/sap/EX3/DVEBMGSXX/j2ee/os_libs:/usr/sap/SMD/exe
