Partial confirmation of sales order not route to other plants_back orders

Hi Expets,

I have question on Back orders, we have problem with partial confirmation of sales orders not routing to other plants and it is becoming back order.

We have setting of GATP for routing non available material to check for in other plants, our GATP is working fine when it can't fulfill whole order quantity (it is routing to other plants), when it confirms partial quantity then rest is not routing to other plants.

What could be the possible cause for this inconsistency.

Hi Venu,

Which version of APO are you using? I faced this problem in 4.0.

Please check your rules and conditions. Since you are using Location substitution, check whether you still face this issue when you are NOT using stock transfer. Also, check settings in ECC SD related to delivery.

We are using APO 4.1, what kind of checks we need to do exactly in SD PART?

We are new to GATP.........Pls. let us know what cases these partial routing will fails. we have supersession ( product) substitution then it goes to location substitution.........we have all 6 plants in place........full quantity is routing to other plants correctly. when facing plant lacks stock, during partial confirmation in facing plant and it is not routing to other plants for rest of quantity.

Pls give us bit detailed process on this
