Hello Everyone,
Want to know about user exit CMOD concept?
I received the enhancement name and function module name where i have to write my code.
I did that and activate my enhancement from SMOD transaction.
But can you please tell me do i have to create the project through CMOD transaction and include my enhancement in the project?
What is the purpose of creating the project?
Also, would like to know if i have only one enhancement do i have to create the project?
Also, if i have 2 enhancements, do i have to create the project and include my 2 enhancemnts in the same project?
Regards,
Tarun

Tarun,
Though you have written code and everything is ready for a component in SMOD user exits (Customer Enhancements), they have to be explicitly activated. Otherwise they will not be executed. To activate the execution, you should include the enhancement in a CMOD project and activate the project. This facility to toggle the custom implementation without deleting the code in your exit.
So all the enahncement objects used for one requirement are typically included into one CMOD project to make it independent of others. More over, an enhancement can only be included in one project, though it can be used to implement different requirements.
