smartform table probelm

hi ,

i have designed a layout and did a coding in driver program,but problem is when i fetch docno which contins line items of 68 .

in page 1:

see above my amount is not in same line of items,

and in page1 the 14th entry half of the line is displaying in page 1 and reaminig(amount line) is displaying in second page.

and also it is not showing total no of pages ,here it is showing Pages:1 of *.

can any body help me..

Hi Ajay,

1)For the table assign patterns and display the line items.

2)For the page assign the window type as final window .

Hi,

Page protection for folder would get disabled if you are placing a table node under it.

Instead you can use a template under a page protcted folder.

but iam using tables here , is there no other way ..to give page protection

Hi,

Hope the problem is bcaz of Column width of Amount, just give sufficient width for the Amount and try.

Regarding the total page numbers, u should follow below 2.

1. Window type where u are printing should be a 'FINAL WINDOW' in General Attributes of the Window.

2. U should give like &SFSY-FORMPAGES(3CZ)& to print the Total No of Pages...

Hi,

You can apply page protection at line type level so that an entire row would be displayed in a single page.

For the page number please display the page number in a final window with the additional event 'Only after end of main window' checked in the conditions tab for the window.

Hi,

Please check the below points for coming the whole item in a single line.

1. check the the column lengths and adjust as large width for amount type fields .Increase the table width.

2. Check the textelement corresponding to the amount field (which displaying in next line) 'output options' tab . there select as new cell instead of new line. then it will contiue on the same line of the item. There page protection check box also there. if u want then check for not spliting the item into 2 lines.

Please drag and drop the field&SFSY-FORMPAGES& from system fields . then value will display.

Hi....

Reason for data coming in two lines is, column length is not sufficient. So u have to align properly by increasing the length of amount column or decrease the excess length in other columns. U have align it and u must have patience for this.

Then some data in page1 and some data in second page issue wonu2019t come.

Hi,

I hope you are displaying all the Items in a Table in Main Window. If its not a main window, then please increase the size of the window, both width and height so that Price gets displayed in First page.

If you display the Items in Main Window, Please put a page protection folder before the Table so that there wont be unwanted page breaks.

For Page Number issues, please use System Fields - SFSY-PAGE

when i saved this,this check box for page protection is disabled..
