SAP Standard Background job is failing

Hi,

The SAP Standard Background job is failing everyday.

Background job Name: SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR

Job logs are pasted below

Job started

Step 001 started (program RSCOLL00, variant , user ID ADMINJOBS)

Clean_Plan:Cleanup of DB13 Plannings

Clean_Plan:started by RSDBPREV

Clean_Plan:Cleaning up jobs of system HRP

Database system not supported

ABAP/4 processor: TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

Job cancelled

Hi,

Please check the following thread for the error "Database system not supported".

Please also refer SAP NOTE 1251966.

Because of this above error, you job is not behaving in desired manner and putting your system in memory critical situation.

I will suggest that please take the decision of memory tuning only after upgrading your system based on the above SAP NOTE. 1251966

what is the value of rdisp/max_wprun_time parameter in your system ?

it might be possible that the value of this parameter is high in your system and this job runs endlessly and finally cancelling with memory problem

check the following Notes might help you

Note 127642 - RSCOLL00: Tuning COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFORMANCEMONITOR

Note 981972 - Timeout in SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR

Note 945279 - Workload Collector terminates due to memory problems

and check the details in the dumps mentioned in the error, via st22, there might be some nearby hint as to what specific report or program is cancelling regarding this job

and performance monitoring tcodes like st04, db02 , st03 running fine ?
