Hi, Pls advise the steps required tomaiantain product cost collector in discrete prod orders?

Yadav,

1.

First you would need to define an Order type for Product Cost Collectors for Production orders, with category "05". Default for REM is "RM01". CO guys would be using transaction KOT2 to define this.

2.

Now for the Production Order type say for example: PP01, using transaction OPL8 in the controlling tab activate the cost collector check box.

3.

Create the required PP Master data like BOM, Routings and Production version.

4.

Now create the product cost collector using KKF6N or KKF6M(Collective - Deactivate the REM check box and use the order type created in step 1.

5.

Create the prelimenary cost estimate for the product collectors with KKF6N or MF30(Collective).
