Alert for reorder Point

Hi Friends

I am using the macro for generating alert for the reroder point, it is given in the SAP Example template macros but some how is not able to generate the alert i executed the same the steps in Safety stock alert it worked fine so can any please through some light on the mistake i may be doing.

Hi,

You can monitor the same via MD04, but if the number of materials are many & not practical to manage via MD04, then go for a Z report where you can manage the same. Read the ROP, Min, Max etc levels from MARC table & the stock from MARD table.

And inform your abaper to put the logic in such a way that the report should display only those materials which have fallen below the ROP in the output. You can schedule to run this report everynight & the following morning, the users can check the results or they run in foreground as well as the runtime should be hardly more than a min or two.
