A chain of relationships between objects in a hierarchical structure.

For example, the evaluation path O-S-P describes the relationship chain: organizational unit -> position -> person ->. Evaluation paths are used for the selection of objects in evaluations. You select an evaluation path and the system evaluates the structure along this evaluation path. The report only takes into account the objects that it finds using the specified evaluation path.

Evaluation paths are created in organizational management Customizing under basic settings. One or more relationships form the navigation paths for an evaluation. These enable us to report on and display structural information, for example, organizational structure or the reporting structure. We can create alphanumeric evaluation paths with a maximum of 8 characters starting with Z.

Maintain Evaluation Paths: is an instruction to the system which objects types and relationships are to be included in an evaluation of your organizational plan. This is basically useful for organizational or reporting structure. We can create our own evaluation path.

i.e. customer specified EP.

It should start with Z
