Hi experts,
I have installed the GRC 5.3 components on the Java Stack so far and also installed the RTA on my ERP system (ERP 6.0). RAR service works perfectly.
However, when starting the transaction /virsa/vfat there appears version 5.2.
Do you have any idea what I haven't installed or missed during installation process ?
Thanks in advance !
Cheers,
Max
Hi Max,
What RTA have you installed? Please check the name of VIRSANH patch.

Hi Sabita,
thanks for your reply !
Seems I still have version 5.2 installed
In SAINT: PCS VIRSANH release 520_700 (SAP GRC Access Controls 5.2 for HR & Non)
file: SAPK-523COINVIRSANH
So must I install the new RTA via SAINT ?
Is the firefighter module part of the RTA installation ?
Thanks in advance,
Max
Hi Max,
If your GRC System is AC 5.3, then you must install RTA VIRSANH release 530_700. Please be very careful in installing it, because once installed, RTAs cant be un-installed.
Choose upgrade option and file because you have already RTA 5.2 installed.
<Downloaded file extract>ABAP\VIRSANH530_700\UPGR\DATA\
<Downloaded file extract>\ABAP\VIRSANH530_700\UPGR\DATA
Here you will find upgrade file.

Sabita
Hi Max,
You must install RTA 530_700 if your AC is 5.3 and backend kernel version 7.00.
You upgrade it through SAINT only, but choose to select upgrade file, it will automatically take upgrade option. Select all relvent RTA patches, and it will install all of them in one go.
When you download GRC AC 5.3 from service marketplace and extract it, it contains both components- VIRSA Java Components which are under JAVA folder and RTAs which are under ABAP folder.
All relevent RTA Patches would also be available there, please check and you will find.
If RTA patches are not there, you can always downlaod it from service market place.
Regards,
Sabita
Kristy, I patched my ECC System to:
SAP_BASIS 700 0014 SAPKB70014
in advance of the RTA.
Kind regards
Max
