Do we need to make any ITS settings for ESS ERP2004 ?

Hi all,

Am trying to implement out-of the box ESS ERP2004 with ECC 5.0 backend. While doing so, do I need perform any ITS based settings in SICF ( i dont think anything is required at the service level in SE80 transaction, as ITS is inbuilt in ECC 5.0)? If so please do guide me as what would I need to do. Any help is highly appreciated.

hi Kapil,

I worked with ESS mySAP ERP 2004... we gave ITS details while defining a system properties to connect to backend.

ITS Host name, ITS Path and ITS protocol. We were able to successfully connect it Backend.For internal ITS its going to be a separate ITS path and standalone ITS it will be a separate path.

Try giving ITS parameters to the system and then check it.

Hi kapil,

This is required only when you are planning to use ITS based services. There are couple of setting which you need to do. After all config and settings test any ITS service from SICF.

hi kapildev,

The ITS is integrated in WAS 6.4 but you need to do the settings for ITS for the System you craete in EP.There is no setting to be done in SICF.
