change in multiple classification through ECR

Dear experts,

We are using class type 050 (Reconciliation) for the classification of material BOM. I have assign two different classes (but same class type i.e 050) to a material BOM. but whenever I changes the classification data in reference to an ECR (date effective), BOM shows only one class in which changes were made.

Actually, it should show both classes with as on effective data.

please help me out

Dear Amber,

I want to change in classification values of one of the class assigned to a BOM. For example

BOM XYZ has been assigned class A & B. Class type is 050 (Reconciliation) for both class.

First characteristics of class A Length Value - 100

Second Characteristics of Class A Width Value - 50

First characteristics of class B Specific Gravity Value - 1.13

Second Characteristics of Class B Density Value - 850

Now I want to change in the classification values of class A (Length 110 & Width 55) for the BOM XYZ with the reference to an ECR, effective from 15.06.2009 (if today is 03.06.2009). I am able to apply above changes in BOM with reference to ECR but whenever I want to see the effective BOM on 16.06.2009, it shows only class A, with new values instead of both class. It should show both class (A & B).

If you have the solution please explain.

What change do you make with ECR ? Is it some sort of assignment change?
