How is SRM,SCM linked to R/3 ,How the data trasfers happens between SRM -R/3 ,SCM-R/3

Dataflow between SRM - R/3 in the following ways:

1. Direct RFC connection (replicating or creating PO/Purchase Requisition and so on)

2. Middleware (Product categories, material masters and so on)

3. Idocs (goods receipt and a few others)
