Dear All,
Just want to ask how to safely cancel/stop a running SGEN.
Will clicking "Terminate generation" suffice?
Thank you very much.

Rayel

Clicking u201CTerminate Generationu201D is fine as SAP will complete the current objects being generated and end cleanly.
Then you will only be left with some objects not generated.
Terminating via SM50 could lead to some inconsistencies.
Hope this helps.

It will create some inconsistency and you will face some runtime error if you terminate the Load generation program because the DDIC structure of an object has changed, and the version of the structure that is active in the buffer is the old one.
Also refer the note 162991

I think it should be ok. There shouldn't be any problem.
Good Luck!
