Excise Invoice error

hello Gurus

while creating an excise invoice I am getting the error " Customization for excise group not available in excise group tables" what can be the reason?

Go to IMG Logistics-General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> India --> Maintain Excise Group

There check whether you have maintained the excise group you require.

HI

at the time of creation of excise invoice in J1IIN select the correct excise group and series group.

If you have not maintained them the maintain them in SPRO>>>>>>logistics general>>>>>tax on goods movements>>>>India>>>>>maintain excise groups and also for series group>

Basically this error comes because if you have selected a wrong series group

Hi Prashanth

Check wheather you have copied the DLFC and its G/L accounts for your excise group properly or not.If you have not copied properly then system will not update in the tables so check wheather you have copied the DLFC and its G/L accounts properly or not
