Hello, everybody, I get a tough question about sales order and planned order as following:
In my company, because of business demand, we want to transfer some unrestricted-use raw material into sales order stock. After I set proper SD requirement type, I meet the demand, but trouble also comes along with it.
The main problem is that once I release a sales order of raw material and run MRP, it will create a planned order corresponds to the sales order. This means no matter how much the supply I have, one I release the sales order and run MRP, the planned order will be created.( For example, the demand from the sales order of material A is 10 EA and I have 1000 EA unrestricted-use material A. According to the business requirement, It cannu2019t create any more planned order, but now, the planned order still comes).
Can anybody help me? How could I stop creating planned order of corresponding sales order in this kind of situation?
