Remote client copy form our Prod client to one of our development client

We have our development system with 3 clients

310 - Developer user this

400 - For testing

410 - Fo other use

Quality assurance system 1 client

101

Production 1 client

101

We wan to run a client copy from our production system to our Development client 400 using sap_all

What will I loose in the other clients 310 & 410

Will I loose transports , data - config.

Any help would be appreciated

You won't lose anything in the Dev 310 or 410. You are refrshing from Prd 101 to client 400 in Dev, it's basically moving everything, or ALL from one client to another. Hope this helps.

Hi Joe

If you are using the client dev-400 as your testing client for the copy of the transports created in the client dev-310, means, if you are using the dev-400 client to keep it in sync with QA-101 client by moving a copy, of every transport which is moving into QA-101, into dev-400 too... then you will loose those transports or configuration changes which are already in QA but not in PRD yet. that's what refresh will do, will make dev-400 in sync with prd-101

However, for dev-310 and dev-410, you will loose nothing i guess.
