Outsourcing Tax Remittance to ADP

Our end users are talking with ADP about having them (ADP) handle our tax remittance. ADP has stated that there is very little that our IS&T department needs to do because everything is handled on ADP's end. How accurate is that statement? I want to be prepared incase something gets dumped on our (IS&T's) lap that needs to be done "yesterday". How does the information get sent to ADP? Is there any configuration that needs to be done?

Hi,

ADP and SAP Interfacing is a common interfacing in US and its happening for years. There are not much things in the ADP tax remittance, they will provide a ABAP code for the remittance program and all you need to do is to copy the code and create the program. Everytime whenever there is change in the format or tax remittance legal requirements , ADP's will team develop the ABAP code in their systems and provide to the client and you have copy paste. Compile and execute.

Hello Marlo,

Do you calculate Gross in SAP? Or Gross to net in SAP? and after completing the payroll, you will do remittance thru ADP?
