HTTPS : Certificates and Public Key

hi,

I will be hitting a HTTPS web service residing on other client's DMZ environment.

When we hit their URL, their server expects us to present a certificate. We have to provide the certificate and public key before hand.

How does the above scenario work when we configure a HTTPS on the sender adapter in XI with xml payload?

Thanks,

Tirumal

Hi Tirumal,

check the below link

you create a certificate and public key in the visual admin and you can export that certificate and give that .crt fiel to the client... so when the security settings are enabled for message level/transport level security the data goes securely and it can be validated, decrypted if encrypted at the client side if the client has that digital certificate.
