READAHEAD_TABLE_THRESHOLD/Prefetch in 7.7

I am a bit confused actually:

Note 1006496 - Feature list for liveCache/MaxDB 7.7

parallel 'read ahead' import of data pages from the hard disk to the data cache.

The feature is currently not available for MaxDB Version 7.7.

Customers who have not activated the prefetch MUST be informed that this function is NOT currently available in 7.7.

Therefore, they must not upgrade to 7.7

We use 7.7.06.14

- Is that feature now available or not (the notes are antagonistic)?

- If yes, what is the name of the new parameter after the renaming? (http://maxdb.sap.com/doc/7_7/44/bd1ec6a5d51388e10000000a155369/frameset.htm does not list that one and I can't fine any obvious renaming.

Parameter name in 7.7.>= 07 -> ReadAheadTableThreshold

Hello Markus,

the PoC of Read Ahead known in MaxDB 7.6. is also available with MaxDB version 7.7.07 only.

It is not available in 7.7.04 or 7.7.06!
