HI experts

in the order type we use this quotation and outline agreement message now in my doc type we

have used quotation message -B and outline agreement message -B

what's the use of that ? B says check at item level

so can any one tell me what is that

Set an indicator here if you want to receive a message informing you that open quotations exist when you create a sales document. Depending on the indicator you select, the system searches for open quotations in the sales document either at the header level for the customer or at item level for the material.

Use

The following indicators must be set:

No indicator: do not check

A: check at header level

B: check at item level

C: check at header level and copy if unique

😧 check at item level and copy if unique

E: check at header level and branch directly to selection list

F: check at item level and branch directly to selection list

Now explanation with example.

Say you have created one quoatation for one SP 1000000, fr 2 line items having 10 Qtys each, and if that quoatation is not fully referenced, say only one line item is confirmed,

if u will maintain "B" check at item level then while creating sales order you will get one message that SP 1000000 has open quoation with the materials. which helps to trackng any open or unfulfilled quotation of same SP.

Hi,

These two are the indicators that will be helpful for you while creating a sales order.They will check for open quantities.

Quotation message:

It is an indicator to receive a message informing you that open quotations exist when you are creating the sales order. Depending on the indicator you select, the system searches for open quotations in the sales document either at the header level for the customer or at item level for the material.Here in your case it is set to option "B".So the system checks at the item level for the material.

Outline Agreement message:

It is an indicator to receive a message informing you that open contracts exist when you are creating the sales order. Depending on the indicator you select, a search is carried out for open contracts in the sales document at the header level for the customer or at item level using the material number.Here in your case it is set to option "B".So the system checks at the item level for the material.

system will give you information message while creating sales order , if open quatations and open Out line agreements exist for that material.
