Browser support for HTML editor

Hello all -

We are running into an issue with the formatting tools of the HTML Editor in our XML Forms when creating or editing an item. The users who have IE 6 are able to format the text with no problem (font size, color, etc)... however, our IE 5.5 users are unable to format the text at all.

I went to the <a href="http://service.sap.com/pam">Product Availability Matrix</a> and it stated that, for SAP Netweaver '04, IE 5.5 is supported as long as it's at least on SP1. Our IE 5.5 users are on SP2... so, according to the PAM, they should have full functionality. But is this not the case? Or is there a browser setting our IE 5.5 users need to modify in order to use the formatting tools of the HTML editor in the XML forms?

Hi Fallon,

for i know nobody still having IE 5.5 installed I cannot test / reproduce this. Anyhow, it sounds like an implementation issue of SAP. I would strongly advise to open an OSS message in regard to the PAM.
