Use of CRM_IC

Hello,

I have enabled all the service needed for web enabled.

I followed the steps given in service.sap.com/rkt-solman.

I click on "Identify Account", I give the account ID and confirm.

But when I try to search for "Registered Product" i dont get any information.

I tried to search with all the possible option, but i dint find any entry...

Have I missed any step ?

Is there any other way to use web enabled.

I have already configured workcenter, I am looking for web enabled using trxn: crm_ic

Hi,

I understood that is the reason i suggested use workcenter becoz crm_ic is old way of posting tickets.

for posting tickets via workcenter over web you can create a short also.

goto intial screen add other objects in fav menu

choose web dynpro application

press f4 and here add this dynrp appln "AGS_WORK_INCIDENT_CREATE_APP"

now enter and then double click this link

in the internet explore you can see the web page wil open for u to post tickets

you can share the same link with every1

Dear Prakhar,

Posting ticket is fine. My question was if key user want to update the ticket or even have look at the status of the message.

I have created seperate work center for key users. Now my question is, should customer login to solman for acessing workcenter or is ther any direct link whcih i can give it them.

Meaning, they can logon to respective work centerwith out using gui.

is it that customer has to logon to solaman via gui and execute the trxn : solman_workcenter or is there any link which i can give to customer(Key users) so that they can do a web login instead of gui ?

Dear shayam,

You got me correct the link which i hav asked you to create ticket is the same link which you are asking for.

Key users dont have to login but on clicking the above link they have to enter user id and password and then they can post tickets

Hope it is solve now.

please use the Solman_workcenter transaction for the web based service desk

also check if you activated the services from the config guide and roles like SM_work_basic and incident management workcenter role is assigned to your id.
