problem regarding asset accounting

hi SAP Gurus

i got a problem regarding asset accounting...when i am posting an acquisition in the previous year i.e in the year 2008. it is giving me the following error

' Fiscal year 2008 has been closed for depreciation area 01 in company code 0001'

can anybody help me regarding the path, where we close and open fiscal years expecially for asset accounting .

Check your last Closed Asset year - QAAQ

AJRW - Fiscal Year Change

AJAB - Year End Closing

u can try using txn code AJRW - Fiscal Year change for assets

HI,

remove FI-closing in asset accounting with OAAQ. All this closing transactions can be found in asset accounting / fixed assets / periodic processing / year-end-closing.
