How to handle Session Timeout in Web Dynpro application

Hi,

I got following exception

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.session.SessionExpiredLongJumpException: Application session has expired.

Can any help me why this kind of message appeares. and how to solve this.

Right click on the application in the web dynpro explorer.

From the context menu select edit.

then select the tab application properties and add new property.

one popup will come select expiration time from the Browse button.

change the value of time specified for the application to expire automatically.

In this way you can control the expiration time.

Hi,

We are currently having issue with the Web dynpro Iviews. It seems that some sessions are not closing properly. Is there a way to automatically close the connection if there are not use? Thanks
