Different email address for one customer


I could see different email address in customer master general data address tab page(field :E-mail) and that appearing for one of the contact person's detail page.

The contact person tab page when scrolled to the right shows the same email as that appearing in address tab page but when click on the details page for that contact person the email appears different.

I could see in the changes of customer master that the email was changed.

My question is which email will be actually used for the customer? and why is the email for the contact person when scrolled right and clicked on detail tab appears different?
