unknown processes in SM50

Hi Gurus,

I'm having these processes in my system which I have no idea what are they. they seemed to take up almost 50% of my dialog processes.

my infra:

- IBM AIX on DB2

- ECC6 with EP7 and TREX

- running Java and ABAP web dynpro, BSPs, ESS.

- ABAP UME

programs that I'm trying to figure out:

SAPLSALU

SAPLWDY_

SAPMHTTP

SAPLHTTP

All hogging the dialog processes in client 000 and with ID SAPSYS. Can't seem to kill them.

Any gurus can fill me in on the abive processses and now to optimize them? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please add the below parameters in the Instance Profile and have a Restart of the System.

alert/use_sema_lock = TRUE

em/use_sema_lock = TRUE

My apologizes.....I received an email stating my previous message was "rejected" due to violation of terms and conditions, which I did a quick search and found my thread to be missing. I assumed it was deleted by the moderators so I rephrase my question (to meet T&C) and repost.

Thank you for linking the old thread for me. As you can see, my question is not even in the post.

Anyway to combine the threads?

put network sniffers and check from where traffic is comming or data packets are going
