Hello All,
Is there anybody who has worked with the Alerts?
Our Business requires that the alerts be sent to the vendors
or their representatives (Users) in the SUS environment in
case of changes/rejection of the Purchase Order responses by the Buyer in SRM to the vendors.
Can somebody provide clues/literature to enable ment of the se Alerts ?
We are working on the SRM 5.0 (550) version and have employed the SUS Scenario.

DEFINE EVENT SCHEMA
->BUS2206
AND GO TO transaction type of BUS2209
supply event schema in transaction type.
i think you have standard events are there like
APPROVAL_NOT_PROCESSED ..

please check and you might get an idea how you can work on this. but it is possible.

Thanks for the link Muthu.
Was helpful though not comprehensive.
I have done some customizing in the SUS and now am able to get the notifications in the SUS Vendor email.
But the Alert functionality, I guess should work with the Transaction Alert which I do not find in the SUS user login.Does it require the role change etc?
Is there some more customizing involved with the container config in the SUS SRM ALerts? I am not sure of this and if anybody can pls send me some step by step documentation to achieve this would be of great help?
