0analysis_pattern sent button is not working

Hi Folks,

we are using 0analysis_pattern for our standard reports in web (BI 7.0).

If I try to sent a report using the sent button a popup comes up with the error

"This site cannnot be displayed"

We are using IE 7

If I using the BEx broadcaster directly from the Business Explorer tab everything is fine.

Any ideas?

Hi Stephan,

Can you delete the cookies and temporary internet files of IE7 and then try clicking the "Send" button?

I deleted all cookies and temporary internet files. But I get the same result.

Any other ideas?

Update:

I tested it with firefox and it works fine!

I disabled popup blocker in IE and set the security to the lowest level, but nothing happend.

Please check the URLs that are generated by the IE. Is it the correct URL?

this is the url from the firefox popup:

http://<server>:50100/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_a...

It seems that IE cannot reach this url.

Hi Stephan,

Just remove "3x" from the end of the URL

It will be look like....

http://<server>:50100/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2fcom.sap.pct!2fplatform_a...

Then click "New Analysis" and open the report and then click "Send"

Try this!

thanks for the hint. But where can I configure the URL? In the Popup I have no chance, and it should be at the step where the user press the sent button.

Yes,

You can't configure in the pop up.

Type the link in the browser and mention the report name which you want to view and send

something like this....

.........bex?TEMPLATE=<Template Name>

This will open the report in the browser,then Send it

You will need to configure the server in transaction RZ10 and RZ11.
