J2ee status info unavailable

Hi, well we already searched for solution to this error but haven't found a proper one.

We patched the NetWeaver System without the inst. guide. Someone patched the Java-Stack on EHP1 but the ABAP stack still is not at this level. Because of this we might get the error above: J2ee status info unavailable in SAP MMC for dispatcher.

Due to some given notes etc. we think this might be because of the missing J2EE synchronisation.

We actually did nothing else but just patched the Java-Stack to EHP1.

We would like to patch ABAP-stack afterwards but this is not possible - why ever.

Does somebody has a solution?

In Syslog we also get this error:

SAP-Basis System: Operating system call recv failed (error no. 10054)

This error might lead to a connection problem to the database but we haven't found a way to solve this!

Can somebody support us?

Best regards

SAP-Basis System: Operating system call recv failed (error no. 10054)

This seems to network related problem. Check your firewall rules, network connectivity and disable antivirus.

Also check the notes, traces as per following document.

Hi,

Are you able to access the j2ee system info using http://host:5XX00

This might occur due to the password synchronization. Firstly change the password for j2ee_admin, then update the password in the secure storage area using the configtool. Then restart the system.

Also make sure that SAPJSF user has the SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION.

We faced this problem recently while upgrading to EHP1.

Vamshi.

Hi, thanks for your support.

We are totally unable to access anything of the Java Stack.

The Info is not available, we cannot open Config Tool and not even start the SDM-Server.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I you are applying any patch to any ABAP+JAVA system you have to apply the patch for ABAP and then you have to apply the patch to JAVA this is the procedural way of applying patch. Now in your case JAVA will not come up until the ABAP patch is applied.

Hi Rakesh,

because we first updated JAVA stack we now tried to fix the ABAP stack to EHP1.

This does not work at all - whyever.

Is there some workaround for this issue?
