INFO UPDATE is always flaged

Hi gurus Sap

Why the field INFO UPDATE in the purchase order ( ME21N) is always flaged when I create a purchase order?

Anybody could tell how can I untick this field?

It is the default setting. you can remove this setting at spro, default values for PO.

I put the parameter EVO , but the field is always flagged.

I went in SPRO in Settings for Default Values,

I change defaut values for InfoUpdate

the field PO is now empty, I save.

But when I create another PO, the flag info recor is always here!!

Somebody have another idea

Hi,

In customization "Default values for purchasing' select the option no updating. then try creating PO.

go to this node:

spro: mm>purchasing>purchase order---->define screen layout at document level. select your filed selection group , go to details , change "info update" field to "optional entry". remove "display" option.

I think you have dispaly option.

before that at same mode , goto "define document types" and select your po 'doucument type' and find the assigned field selection group.

now you remove the tick of the "info update" check box

Then I went to my selection group, and all is ok.

if it is "optional entry" , you can directly remove the tick of the check box.

Hi,

In SPRO-MM-PURCHASING-ENVIRONMENT DATA-DEFINE DEFAULT VALUES FOR BUYERS,-click settings for default values then click new entries and create a new default value group where you can find Info record update ,here choose no update by using drop down. and save it.

Then goto SU3 click parameters tab where enter the parameter Id-EVO and enter your group in parameter value column and save it.

Now if you create PO the inforecord update check box will be unchecked. try this out.

Infoupdate indicator will be ticked in all the PO s as it determines whether the prices and conditions of this purchase order item are suggested in future PO items. So for each time if u enter the PO with the same material it will suggest the prices and conditions.

this is SAP std setting for transaction ME21n that info update indicator wil come as preselected.

this can be changed though by changing settings in spro like using evo parameter

assign the settings maintained in default value fr buyers to user in Tx SU3
