Stms import queue fails with the following error message

Hi Hem,

First kill all pids running with tp at os level.

Then rename that prticular file and retry.

If it is not working, try to import using tp import command and let us know.

Hi,

As per your query this is relatd to your RFC connection is not set. Pls check it and resend the same.

Check file permissions, Import queue unable to read particular file in /usr/sap/trans/data or cofiles.

Check the same and correct them.

I have checked all the permissions, I had even assigned Full rights permissions to this folder for usergroup everyone. still. no luck.

Hi,

Looks like this is getting failed when It is trying to transfer the files from one server to another server.

Please check the status of <SID>adm user on both the servers where transfer of file is happening.

Please ensure the proper permission on both the sevrers where transfer of file is happening.

Hi

I gave full rights to user SIDADM, SapseriveSID and even for usergroup everyone. still it doesnt work.

Also tried to delete the system from the domain and re added the system to domain.

Can you provide some of the lines from SLOG which are relevent to this error?

Please also test that are you able to perform the ftp manually in between those two servers?

Hi,

Please try to open the file
SMUC013\sapmnt\trans\tmp\SLOG0920.BWP.LOC

There will be one PID in this file. if that PID exists on OS level, please kill that PID.

Once the PID will get killed, please delete this .LOC file and see what happens.

Please try to delete this file (.LOC) only once and make doubly ensure that PID mentioned inside that file should be killed (If exists) before deleting this file.
