Upgrade APO 4.1 to APO 5.1

Dear all,

Regarding uppermentioned subject, please shed some lights for me.

We are considering to upgrade ECC DIMP 5.0 to ECC 6.0, but some considerations remain.

Whether to upgrade APO together or not. As mentioned, we currently are using APO 4.1(DP, SNP, GATP, PP/DS), but we have to upgrade APO ?

1. I want to know if we upgrade ERP, then APO also should be upgraded or not.

2. If yes, where can I get the materials related with APO upgrade, for example, pre-activity, upgrade procedure etc.

Hello Lee,

Normally you do not need to update also the APO system, but for old versions may have some restrictions.

As of SCM 4.1 seems to there is no restriction. You can take a look on note 540911.

Another possibility is check the service marketplace, on SAP ERP Upgrade.
