Accounting ( no cost)

Hi

I have assigned WBS element in accounting tab in account assignment.The WBS element has the cost planning. However clicking the " calculate" button gives error" Internal error: Calling costing leads to exception". Where I am wrong..................assume me as new to c project.

Any other settings to be checked ??

Have you maintained the accounting services properly ? Please check on that in back-end and you will get your query resolved.

Hello Zinni,

I assume the error is related to a wrong customizing. Could you please check below IMG activities in transaction SPRO in the ERP (PS) system:

- Integration with Other mySAP.com Components

- Collaboration Projects

- Controlling

- Settings for Easy Cost Planning

For Ad-Hoc cost estimates you should use a costing variant for this object type, e.g. PADH (SAP standard), this costing variant must be defined in the CO customizing:

- Controlling

- Product Cost Controlling

- Product Cost Planning

- Ad Hoc Cost Estimate

- Define Costing Variants

Hi Zinni,

Did you maintain following things

-Organization unit -maintain master cost centre with rate in ECC 6

-Cost replication

-activity type- Rate

-Cost element

-Replicate Accounting-Relevant Characteristics

-Make Settings in ERP System

-Define Object Links for Accounting Integration

Also please check current Fiscal year activity rate
