Reg Maintenance Certificate

Dear Friends

I had updated the SPAM patches but that time got pop up box is No validity for maintenance certificate. After i generate maintenance certificate thru www.service.sap.com/licensekey. I got mail reply from SAP support. Then i try to apply maintenance certificate license thru SLICENSE tcode but i got error. Old License key is already found.

How to apply the Maintenance Certificate.

Hi,

While applying for the certificate in service.sap.com you need to select license type as maintenance and then apply for it.

Dear Rohith,

I has applied thru Service.sap.com/licensekey. I got all keys with one note pad file. Then i installed thru T.code - Slicense click NEW LICENSE --> installed New license --> asking that downloaded file path. i gave exat path. but I got error meassage is

error when installing permanent license key.

this system's system number is 000000000310476228, but ther is licensekey for system number 000000000310476228 in the license key file.

First number is old permanent license number

Second one is new maintenance number

You can try removing the old license before applying the new one.

Ok i can remove the old one license number. It is Permanent License key. Now i am applying Maintenance certificate license key number. It is valid for Three month only. After that what can i do?

Send the request again for new Maintainence Certificate and apply it again. If you have solution manager installed then Automatic scheduling is possible from Solution manager.
