patch for solution manager

Dear All,

i am upgrading our server on the basis of support patch.

i am having patch for ECC 6.0 and had successfully apply them.

like basis patch SAPKB70011 & abap patch SAPKA70011 etc.

now i want to upgrade solution manager patch having version 4.0 so patch would be the same for both or different.

i mean i have to download for solution manager sepretaly.

Nope. Patch would be the same for both system. No need to download seperately.

ok,

we are having solman 4.0 installed with CRM devlopment

and i have to make solman as service desk for that i want to update solman on the basis of patch level.

when i check spam status then i am finding that spam status in red at showing error XPRA_EXECUTION

SAP_BASIS

SAP_ABA

PI_BASIS all are aborted after 6 level.

while having version 700/0023

also transpoet icon in disable form and also load packege is in desable form.

somboday had tried before some month as i check but now i want to apply those patches.

so , suggest me what should i do and

Is it possible if i remove the uncar files into EPS In and also reset the buffer then i can process from the starting level.

for that what thing should i have to perform.

Hello

You have to continue import from that stage only

You will have to logon with the same user who tried one month before and open SPAM and continue with the import in dialog

The patches will be applied successfully

but suggest me how can i do that as it has been done before 5-6 months

and also server has been restarted in between that.

now if i am log in into solman 000 with SAP* then icon for inport is disabled then clear me what should i do.

You will have to logon with the user who imported this patches before

The you will be able to start the import

You will not be able to reset the queue now since that support packs have already been imported,you have no option other than to continue

This is the last stage of implementation

Also check the SPAM logs for any errors

yes, basis and abap patches would be same for solman too. But other patches in solman like ST-SER etc are different from normal ecc patches so you have to include patches for these kind of components too. But as Subhash too mentioned here, there would be no difference in applying and downloading the patches, while downloading the stack for solman, you would automatically get the patches for all components of the solman system. In other words, service.sap.com will tell you everything..
